C'est La Vie!

We started our day at the largest art museum (and most crowded) in the world – The Louvre.  Delegates enjoyed a guided tour and saw famous works of art including the Venus de Milo, Winged Victory, and the Mona Lisa, Leonardo da Vinci’s masterpiece.  Is that a smile I see?

We wandered the streets of Paris to get to lunch.  In the cavernous basement of Flam’s Lombards, students sampled regional French cuisine. Then it was off for a spectacular view of Paris from the top of the Eiffel Tower. Leaving the 899 foot tower, we were drenched in pouring rain for 10 minutes!! Oh well, as they say here,  C’est la vie!

After dinner some students chose to try a traditional French crepe. C’est si bon! On the bus ride back to the hotel everyone sang Happy Birthday in both English and French to Daniel.  Bon Anniversaire, Daniel!  How many American kids can say they spent their 17th birthday in Paris?!      C’EST LA VIE!

Color toilet paper?!   Art imitates Life!

Meet Adam, our Delegation Manager

Bon Anniversaire, Daniel
